Team NiSCA introducing the PR5103 Standalone Laminator
October 7, 2002, Somerset NJ
TEAMNiSCA introduces the PR5103 Standalone Laminator for use in existing badging applications. The PR5103 laminator offers users the security and ease of lamination without having to replace the existing card printer.
The PR5103 laminates standard CR-80 cards printed from any dye-sublimation printer from NiSCA, Fargo, Eltron, etc. Cards are then loaded into the 100-card bin and are processed through the high-speed unit. Card processed through the PR5103 will not require the clear overlay ink panel to be applied because the laminate will act as an extremely efficient dye-migration block. The PR5103 is delivered with standard factory default setting for hardcoat (sometimes know as holopatch material .6mil to 1mil in thickness) and softcoat (sometimes know as thinfilm or foil) material.
Features of the PR5103 include sensitive position adjustment settings to optimally locate the laminate on the ID card. Temperature and speed settings allow the user to configure the laminator to just the correct setting for their specific laminate to ensure a perfect bond.
