PR5300 Introduction is a great success
The PR5300 Printer, the newest addition to the TEAM NiSCA product line, was introduced in mid-2000 with great success. "The new printer offers a reliable and well priced competitive option to similarly positioned products in the market place,” says Rob Miskelly, TEAM NiSCA Business Manager.
The PR5300 offer the standard "NiSCA" features such as:
- automatic dual sided printing
- modular design for easy replacement of print head and ribbon
- dual sided overlamination options which can apply two different laminate materials
- advanced self diagnostic features
New in the PR5300 is a parallel port interface option. In the past, the NiSCA printers have all been developed around the industry standard SCSI interface, because of performance advantages. But new in the PR5300, NiSCA is offering an industry standard parallel port option to accommodate users in the new printers market segment.
Also new to the PR5300 is the physical and financial foot print. The printer has been designed as desktop unit - just larger than an 8x11" piece of paper; and has been developed to be the entry-level unit with a very attractive price.
