Encoding

The PR5310 and PR5350 now offer new in-line Smart Card RFID read/write technology that is provided by add-on modules and an RS232 output for PC communication. Add-on modules can be factory installed or alternatively a PR5310 or PR5350 can be upgraded to contactless reading/writing at anytime in field. Available RFID modules include MIFARE, DESFire, HID ProxPoint, and HID i-Class. Holographic Card Stock

Holographic Laminate

All NiSCA dual sided printers offer an optional laminator that can be attached without any tools in less than 30 seconds - the fastest upgrade available. Even if you have a 5-year old PR5300 printer with 100,000 prints on it, you can buy a new laminator today, plug it in and add a security lamination to your ID cards.
